Pioneer Group has been a trusted partner of Joe & The Juice UK for several years, working alongside their original retail design agency to upgrade stores with Digital Menu Boards. As part of their latest expansion, Joe & The Juice is opening 15 new locations across London and Manchester, requiring a comprehensive AV, IT infrastructure, and electrical solution.
Pioneer Group was selected to provide a full turnkey service, delivering seamless integration of digital displays, audio systems, and POS technology while managing power, data, and installation requirements.
Business Needs & Objectives
Joe & The Juice, a premium food and beverage retailer known for its high-quality coffee and smoothies, required a single-provider solution to streamline store technology implementation. Their objective was to create a unified, efficient, and engaging in-store experience while ensuring rapid deployment and minimal disruption to operations.

- Provide in-store digital signage for dynamic menu management.
- Implement a high-quality audio system aligned with brand guidelines.

- Audio & Music Systems: LEA amplifiers and Martin Audio CDD5B speakers, ensuring premium in-store sound quality.
- POS Systems: iPads, Star printers, and label printers for receipt and transaction management
- Digital Menu Boards: Five Samsung Smart 4K HDR Large Format Displays (43”-55”) per store, mounted using B-Tech System X rail and bracket system in portrait orientation.
- Mounting Solutions: Economic space pole for iPad with VeriFone cradle for the payment terminal

Site Surveys & Planning: Pioneer Group conducted surveys at all 15 locations to assess screen sizing, mounting options, cable routes, power/data requirements, and access logistics. Project Coordination: A dedicated project manager oversaw all trades, ensuring smooth execution through detailed planning and weekly project meetings. Pre-Staging & Quality Assurance: All hardware was pre-staged, tested, and commissioned in Pioneer Group’s staging workshop before site deployment, reducing potential on-site issues. Efficient Installation: Systems were packaged store-by-store and sent to site, allowing for efficient, single-visit installations.
