The stand was buzzing throughout the show, with an interactive virtual reality experience at the front to draw people in. In the Google Shop, Pioneer presented electronic shelf labelling which is at the forefront of retail innovation, enabling dynamic and responsive pricing across single or multiple retail sites.
This was paired with intelligent RFID tagging, connecting products on the shelf to digital displays so that when lifted, electronic point of sale content is triggered and delivered to the customer. Shelf edge labelling was the talk of the stand, with Pioneer partnering exclusively with LG Innotek to bring this technology to the UK.
Pioneer certainly delivered the wow factor, perfect for luxury boutiques and high end retailers.
